PRESS RELEASE

SCALE...scale

12 June – 14 September 2007

Anthony Meier Fine Arts is pleased to announce the group exhibition SCALE…scale.  An investigation in size, the show focuses on works of either gargantuan or diminutive scale.  The juxtaposition of very large to very small pieces creates an interesting dialogue surrounding the contribution of size to the success of a work.

Works in the grand scale include the longest Donald Judd progression, a Carl Andre cedar floor sculpture, a Dave Muller cassette stack, and a Barnaby Furnas Flood painting.

Works in the more modest scale include a Felix Gonzalez-Torres set of clocks, two Jeremy Dickinson car paintings, and a Carl Andre rubber line.
